OYSTER FISHING – WORKING DAY

The oyster fishing experience offers a unique opportunity to gain a deeper insight into the noble art of oyster fishing while participating in the catch that ends up on the table.

The day begins with us steering out of the quay in the fishing boat to get to one of our oyster banks. There you can help with the fishing and learn more about all the fantastic food that hides beneath the surface in Bohuslän. We take the catch back to our cozy boathouse where we eat lunch together. Lunch consists of the best delicacies from the sea's own pantry, together with carefully selected drinks. We receive up to six people per occasion.

Whether you choose this experience or the Saturday tour, equipment, and fishing clothes are provided. When booking, you will be informed what you need to bring yourself, such as warm clothes, shoes, and similar items.
Please note that accommodation and travel to Grebbestad are not included, and we have a minimum age requirement of 14 years.

THE SATURDAY TOUR

Nothing tastes better than the food you've caught yourself. The Saturday begins with a boat trip through the beautiful Grebbestad archipelago to one of our finest oyster banks. There, I will tell you about oysters and how to catch them. Afterwards, you will pick your own oysters, which we cook with other seafood over an open fire. You can’t find fresher seafood. It’s a true adventure for those who want to try oyster fishing. 

We accept private groups, but you can also book as part of a group of up to fourteen people.

Whether you choose the full oyster fishing experience or the Saturday tour, equipment, and fishing clothes are provided. What you need to bring, such as warm clothing, shoes, and similar items, will be informed when booking.
